Singer and songwriter John Denver touched millions of people. He also achieved the status of a superstar through his pop-folk songs based on folk, most of which were based in Colorado. Henry John Deutschendorf Jr. was born in Roswell, New Mexico. He fell in love with Colorado and eventually settled in Aspen. Denver's popular state anthems have been a draw for many who have come to Colorado. G. Brown the curator of the Colorado Music Hall of Fame said it was John Denver was the best artist to capture Colorado. Denver became the one of the first Hall of Fame inductee in the year 2011. He is now the symbol of Colorado across the globe. It is a fact that when I travel you encounter someone on the other continent, a person from New Zealand and you say "I'm from Colorado and the first word that comes you hear is"Oh John Denver! Brown declared. Take Me Home Country Roads was the top solo achievement after having performed in small folk groups. It was co-written and recorded by Bill Danoff. Danoff first wrote the track with Johnny Cash's music in head, however Denver realized from the first moment he heard initial versions that it could be a huge popular. Danoff recorded the track only a few days afterward before performing the song to the awe-inspiring crowd on the streets of Washington D.C.
