Winona-Ryder
Winona Ryder (born Winona Laura Hornowitz) was born in Winona Minnesota. Her name was chosen by her parents in honor of the town where she grew as a child. Her father Michel Horowitz, and mother Cynthia Palmer are authors and editors. Ryder's dad came from a Jewish family. Ryder considers her self Jewish. Uria Ryder is her younger brother. Jubal, Sunyata and Sunyata are the half siblings of Ryder. Ryder's parents moved her and their children in Mendocino County California when Ryder was seven years old. There, they didn't have electricity. Ryder was a prolific reader due to the lack of television. Ryder began to take acting classes in the American Conservatory Theatre in 1983 at the age of 12 years old. Lucas was dismissed in the year 1986, and Ryder who was just 15 years old, was offered an acting job as a lead actor. Ryder had to deal with bullying throughout her time in high school. Ryder hoped that her actions could bring change. However, it didn't take place. Still, she pursued her dream. In 1988, she got her big break in Tim Burton's Beetlejuice. Ryder was able to continue playing characters that made a splash in several movies. She received nominations for two Academy Awards one for her performance in The Age of Innocence (1993).
