She was a musician, creator, and performer who set new boundaries in the music world. She was simultaneously contemporary and traditional, an Mexican American who united the two worlds in an distinct way. It was an emerging star but her sudden death broke it. It is also the case with a talented, charismatic and young musician passes away too early and is buried, many mourned the greatness that she had yet to reach. To stop her accomplishments from being forgotten her many admirers over the past time have been inspired to go further. Selena, the Tejano performer who tragically killed during a shooting incident, sparked a Latino response that could be compared with the response to Elvis Presley's and John Lennon's deaths. Selena was a wildly well-known singer for Latinos across North America. But her songs touched the hearts of both young and old.
